Judd Lienhard attended Truman State University on a football scholarship where he got his degree in Exercise Physiology. While at Truman, he earned all-conference and all-region honors at middle linebacker. He was voted ‘Linebacker of the Year’ and selected as the team’s strength and conditioning athlete his junior and senior years. After graduation, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and worked as the football team’s strength and conditioning coach for one year before beginning a career as a sports medicine trainer.

US ARMY VETERAN

10TH MOUNTAIN DIVISION | 3D RANGER BATTALION

In 2006 Judd was working as a sports medicine trainer in southern California when he decided to join the US Army. He was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 2007. During my time in the service I deployed to Iraq as a platoon leader with 10th Mountain Division and then again as a platoon leader with the 3D Ranger Battalion back to Iraq and then once to Afghanistan. He was awarded a Bronze Star for service during his time in Iraq in 2008 and again in Afghanistan in 2010. He completed my four-year service obligation to the Army in 2010 and decided to build a career based on his life-long love of fitness.

Through the years he has moved a good bit: Missouri, California, Georgia, New York, Illinois, Louisiana, and ultimately put down roots in Austin, Texas. Judd has been in Austin for the last 12+ years working as a Speed and Performance Coach for athletes that span in age from 9-79 years young. He loves what he does and has built his personal ethos into a professional quest; empowering others to Always Be An Athlete.
